EPITER :

Founded in 1985, the EPITER association brings together epidemiologists from various professional backgrounds, practicing in France and abroad.

The main missions and activities carried out by Epiter are the promotion and development of Field Epidemiology research, the pooling of experiences, the scientific exchanges and the sharing of information and knowledge with Public Health and Field Epidemiology actors.

The association is composed of former students and trainers of the course IDEA (Cours International d'Épidémiologie Appliquée -  International Course of Applied Epidemiology). The association is open to participants of other courses in epidemiology, including the European course "Epiet", sharing the same culture of Field Epidemiology.
